Turkish Rhubarb (Rheum palmatum) is also called rhubarb, da-huang, Chinese rhubarb and Indian rhubarb. Turkish Rhubarb has many medicinal properties, most notably anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer.
Turkish Rhubarb is used to improve digestion and loss of appetite. This herb is
rich in tannins, compounds that increase the flow of saliva and gastric secretions. At low dosages (0.1-0.2g) this herb will stop diarrhoea and at high dosages (1-2g) it will act as a laxative.
Instructions for use
Mix up to 1/2 teaspoon of powder and 1 spoonful of honey into a paste. Add hot water and milk, stir and enjoy!
