Yerba Mate (flex paraguariensis) is grown in Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Brazil, but is most abundant in Paraguay where it is also cultivated. Caffeine content varies between 0.3%-1.7% of dry weight (compare this to 2.5–4.5% for tea leaves, and 1.5% for ground coffee).

Instructions for use

Use 2-5g (1-2 teaspoons) per serve. Brew in a pot of boiled water for 10 minutes, strain and pour. Add sweetener as needed.
