Mulungu is a rainforest tree of the Erythrina species originally used by the indigenous people of the Amazon for its medicinal properties. Used as a natural sedative, Mulungu is said to promote restful sleep and assist in the treatment of insomnia and anxiety. Mulungu has also been used in the treatment of epilepsy, to reduce blood pressure and regulate the heart beat.

Instructions for use

Add 1/2 teaspoon (2-5g) of Mulungu bark powder to a tea pot of boiling water.  Brew for about 10 minutes, strain and pour. Add sweetener as needed.
