Ever since, the herb has been called Mr Ho's black hair (shou = head; wu = black). Instructions for use Ho Shou Wu is best brewed as a tea. Just simmer 1-2 teaspoons in a pot of water for 10-20 minutes, then strain and pour. Add sweetener if you like, and enjoy your herbs!
