According to folklore, the Angelica herb got its name from an angel who came to Earth to save humanity from a deadly plague. The angel told the people to hold a piece of Angelica root in their mouths and the plague was eradicated.
Angelica is a very good tonic herb for women and children, and is great for the treatment of cold and flu symptoms.

Add 1/2 teaspoon to hot water and brew for 10 minutes. Add honey if required.
